By land, The Heritage is close to Willow Point, one of Russell Lands’s first developments, and the new Wicker Point Golf and Country Club. So, if you’re a golfer this neighborhood is a great choice.

The Heritage is a residential waterfront neighborhood located in the central area of Lake Martin. It's one of the newest developments by developer Russell Lands.

By land, The Heritage is close to Willow Point, one of Russell Lands’s first developments, and the new Wicker Point Golf and Country Club. So, if you’re a golfer this neighborhood is a great choice. The Benjamin Club is a clubhouse just for the residents of The Heritage.

The Heritage neighborhood has similar covenants to other Russell Lands’s neighborhoods such as you can't have a covered boat dock, you have an Architectural Review Committee that approves your plans and the style of your home, you have approved builders, and you can't split the lot. It's also similar to a lot of neighborhoods in that some of the lots have big huge views and some of them have slough views. Typical Heritage lots are pretty woodsy and relatively flat. This makes great areas to walk in the neighborhood.

A lot of people ask me about boat driving time. If you're in The Heritage in your boat, then it's probably about 5 minutes to Peanut Point which is a big landmark. If you go south, it's about a 20 minute drive to the Chimney Rock area. You can also go north and go to the River North Marina, Boondocks at Bay Pine, and Wind Creek.

Russell Crossroads is just down highway 63 from The Heritage. Located at Russell Crossroads, you will find Catherine’s Market and SpringHouse restaurant just minutes away. The newest addition is Fanny Goldmine Diner.
