You may have heard about ski in/ski out condos in the mountains, but at Lake Martin, we have hike in/hike out houses. My new listing at 105 Loft Circle on Lake Martin is one of those houses!

Hiking is really popular around Lake Martin in Alabama, and there are so many great hiking trails. A lot of these trails are right on the water with access to beautiful views. My new listing at 105 Loft Circle in The Village neighborhood is so close to some of the best trails around Lake Martin that you don’t even have to drive to get to them!

One of the hiking trails that is close to my new listing is Nature’s Way trail system. They have pavilions out on the water, access to big water views, and some trails that go back into the sloughs. It’s an awesome place for a picnic by the lake. The fastest way out to the big water is to take the Yellow Trail and then take the Blue Trail at the first big view connector that you get to. This takes you to where The Ridge and Blue Creek are located and right by Chimney Rock. This is a very shaded trail, so it is great to hike during the summer heat. However, my favorite trail is the Red Trail, because it goes all the way around. This trail would be great to hike during the fall months.
