The monthly sales at Lake Martin in July 2017, were down from last year. This year we had 23 waterfront home sales as compared to 35 in July 2016. This includes the entire lake, all agents. So do you think that is bad – we are down 34%? Should we be ringing the alarm bell?
That is not the whole story.
If we look at waterfront sales Year-to-date at the end of July 2017, we see something different. Remember, this is all agents, all brokers, the entire market. So far, as of July 31, 2017, we’ve sold 204 waterfront homes on Lake Martin. If we look at the same time frame in 2016, we see that the total was 184 homes sold on Lake Martin. So actually we’re up about 11%!
