New Year’s Eve Party at Zazu’s

Ring in the new year at Zazu’s New Year’s Eve Party on December 31, 2024! Known for throwing one of the best New Year’s Eve parties on Lake Martin, you don’t want to miss out on this fun event!

Zazu’s Verandah is located on the beautiful Dadeville Square near neighborhoods such as The Village and StillWaters. It is an event venue that hosts live music throughout the year. The name of the venue came from owners Rick and Mitzy Hidding’s Rainbow Lorikeet, Zazu, and it became the icon for Zazu’s Verandah. 

Every year, Zazu’s Verandah hosts their New Year’s Eve party and has the Zazu Drop tradition. This is where a replica of Zazu drops from the 14’ ceiling and guest cheer in their feather boas and beads as they celebrate the new year. 

This year’s event will start at 7 PM and go until 10 PM. One of the best things about this party is the Zazu Drop happens at 10 PM, so you don’t have to stay up until midnight to celebrate the new year. To help celebrate, this year’s musical guest will be Muse. Wine and beer will be sold as well as charcuterie trays available for pre-order. So, pre-order your trays by calling Zazu’s at 256-307-2188.

This New Year’s Eve party is a free event. However, Zazu’s Verandah asks that you tip the band a minimum of $20. For more information on this event, visit the link here.
