Publix Now Open on Lake Martin

There’s a Publix now open on Lake Martin! This new Publix is located in Alexander City, AL, on Highway 280 at the corner of Highway 63.

In this intersection, you may have seen a big American flag. It’s been there for years next to big granite cliffs. Near this intersection, on Highway 280, there are a lot of other commercial stuff, and now you can visit the brand new Publix on Lake Martin! 

Other stores have also just opened up next to the new Publix. There’s a Marshalls, Rack Room, Five Below, and the first Starbucks in Alex City. I’m a hometown guy from Alex City, so I encourage you to still visit all of the cool locally owned spots you have. But, if you’re a Publix person, then we’ve got one now. 

I just had some people in from Texas two weeks ago, and they wanted to be within 30 minutes of a Publix. So, that is in some people’s priorities when searching for a home. My wife is from Tallahassee, FL, and one of the elements of civilization for her is a Publix. I always kid her about it, but not anymore because Lake Martin has one now.
