Are you from out of state and thinking about buying a house on Lake Martin? Then, you may have some questions that you need answered.
In this blog, I will hopefully answer these questions and give you some helpful out of state buyer tips for moving to Lake Martin.
To help answer some of your most asked questions, I asked a previous client of mine what questions they had when moving to Lake Martin.
The first question an out of state buyer might have is about Lake Martin itself and the area in general. According to my previous client, one of the most challenging things about moving was looking for real estate out of state. They had thought they wanted a private older home right on the water, but they ended up choosing a house not on the water but close to it.
Another question they had was about neighborhoods. The client said that not knowing the area or neighborhoods was a challenge. So, they made sure to do all kinds of research on the area to help them make their decision, and they love their neighborhood!
Another good resource to help learn about neighborhoods on Lake Martin is my Neighborhoods page. This page is updated regularly and helps give an overview of the neighborhoods located near the lake.
The page helps give you an idea of what the area looks like by listing restaurants and marinas in the area. My previous client also mentioned how having a real estate agent in the area helped them make the right choice for them.
