There’s something special about seeing a longtime local staple come back to life. That’s exactly what’s happening in downtown Alexander City when Carlisle’s near Lake Martin reopens. Under new ownership, this well-known restaurant is beginning a new chapter while holding tight to the character and history that made it a favorite in the first place.
For locals, Lake Martin visitors, and anyone who loves the downtown Alex City dining scene, Carlisle’s return is welcome news. Make sure to stop for some great lunch food and drinks!
New Ownership, Fresh Energy
New ownership brings fresh ideas, renewed passion, and a strong commitment to quality. That energy is already being felt at Carlisle’s. The new owners, Brianna and Tyler Fenn, have said they are excited to reopen this restaurant to the Lake Martin community.
From the atmosphere to the menu, the focus is on creating a place where people can gather and enjoy great food while experiencing a place that holds so much history. I’m excited to try out the new menu at Carlisle’s which includes sandwiches, salads, wraps, and of course milkshakes. Check out the full menu on my app also called Lake Martin Voice.
A Boost for Downtown Alexander City
The reopening of Carlisle’s adds even more fun places to visit downtown Alex City. With its walkable streets, locally owned shops, and growing list of restaurants, downtown Alexander City has become a destination many people want to visit. Other restaurants you can enjoy include fine dining at Castelluccio and casual dining at J.R.’s Sports Bar and Grill.
For those who live at Lake Martin or are considering buying Lake Martin real estate, having strong nearby dining options is a major plus. It’s another example of how the Lake Martin lifestyle extends beyond the water and into the surrounding communities.
