Jackson’s Drugs and Gifts is one of the great examples of a local Lake Martin area business that has been here for decades. They are great folks, and I wanted to write a blog telling you all about Jackson’s Drugs and Gifts and how your meds can be delivered.
Location of Jackson’s Drugs and Gifts
They are located on the Alexander City side of Lake Martin right off of Highway 280 on the main 280 strip. This highway is where the new Publix and Starbucks are located. In addition to the store in Alex City, there is also a Jackson’s Drugs and Gifts in New Site, AL.
Jackson’s Drugs and Gifts Delivers
If you’re coming from out of town and visiting the lake, one big thing to know is they do deliver your prescriptions. If you call it in and can’t come, then they’ve got a little delivery car and can deliver to you anywhere in the Lake Martin area.
They can fill your prescriptions here as long as you have all of your information that is needed. Another thing they do, which I didn’t really realize, was they also have a compounding office in Birmingham. So, if you give them a couple of days or a day ahead, they can get your compounded medicine from their Birmingham office to the Lake Martin area.
In addition to the pharmacy, they have a whole gift section filled with the perfect gifts for anyone you know. Free gift wrapping is also available. So, definitely check them out next time your in Alex City!

Jackson’s is a great example of a local business here in the Lake Martin area. They’ve been here for decades and have earned the trust of the community. I know these folks and grew up with them.
