Suddenly, with all the corona / covid-19 craziness, the world is finally realizing the value of quality 3D or virtual tours for real estate sales.

Both the National Association of Realtors and the Alabama Association of Realtors have sent its members like me advisories on how to do business during this time. Since the real estate industry has been designated as essential, we have to learn how to serve our buyers and sellers while maintaining smart health precautions.

The good news for my sellers and buyers is that I have been using Matterport 3D tours since September of 2015. Yes, they are costly. Yes, they are way above the normal level of service. But they are also extremely beneficial to my sellers because they are, in my opinion, the gold standard for the industry. My sellers have been able to showcase their properties by a logical and beautiful virtual walkthrough. It is a no brainer, in my opinion. If I were a seller I would insist that my listing agent make one.

Buyers of Lake Martin real estate also love them. Most of our buyers are coming from greater than 2 hours away, and these Matterport tours give them the ability to walk through a home and eliminate or include homes without having to come to them. That way, when they do have time to visit in person, they are not wasting time on homes that are obviously not a good fit.
