Boating 101 Class

Recently, I hosted a Boating 101 Class at Smith Marina on Lake Martin. It was a great way to spend time with my clients and make new friends on the lake.

Smith Marina opened 9 years ago and has been a great addition to the lake. They sell frozen yogurt, gas, and gifts such as T-shirts. They also rent Pontoon boats and a cabin nearby.

Boating 101 Class

For the class, we had Robin Simms who taught everyone the basics of boating such as important laws and regulations you must follow. She also spoke about safety guidelines you should follow to make sure your boating trip goes smoothly. 

Not only did we learn the basics of boating, we also got hands on experience driving one of the Pontoon boats provided by Smith Marina, tying up the boat, and ended the day with a frozen yogurt. It was a successful event, and I hope to do another one in the future. So, make sure to follow along with Lake Martin Voice Realty to stay up to date with future events.
