Sandy Creek is an area on Lake Martin that’s not a neighborhood, but it’s a general geographic area. In this blog, I will take you on a tour of one of the lake’s most charming hidden gems. 

Sandy Creek Location

Sandy Creek is located on the east to northeast side of Lake Martin. You can get to Sandy Creek in two ways. Some parts of Sandy Creek have Dadeville addresses, but some have Jackson’s Gap addresses. 

This means some people can get to Sandy Creek by car by Hwy 34. That way you’re close to restaurants such as Lake Martin Pizza. Or, you can also come from the north side and have a Jackson’s Gap address. That means you’re kind of closer to downtown Dadeville. So, it just depends on where you want to be. 

Homes for Sale in Sandy Creek

There are four homes for sale in the Sandy Creek area that are between $800,000 and about $3.2 million. 18 homes have sold in the last 12 months, and I was blessed to sell two of those homes. 

The highest priced home is around $3.1 million, and the lowest is down to about $540,000. There’s also a wide degree of home styles, home designs, and home quality when it comes to homes located in the Sandy Creek area. 

Out in the Country Feel

Because it’s a geographic area and not a formal neighborhood, if you’re a person that likes to kind of feel like you’re out in the country a little bit, then I think Sandy Creek is good for that. There’s some areas that feel like you’re way out in the middle of nowhere. However, there’s also some areas that feel more like a neighborhood.
