Weekend Warrior Fly Fishing Film Festival

Check out the Weekend Warrior Fly Fishing Film Festival on April 5th. The event will be held across from the Waverly Local in their event space in Waverly, Alabama. It will start at 1:30 PM and end at 5 PM. So, come check it out!

I love to fly fish, but this would also be a fun event even if you don’t. The Waverly Local is always a cool spot to hang out. They’ll have raffles for gear and art. The films will start at 3 PM. 

This event also has a focus on the mighty Tallapoosa River, which is near to my heart for many reasons. All fans of Lake Martin should love the Tallapoosa, too, because that’s the river that’s dammed to create the lake.

If you’ve never floated the Tallapoosa, then I highly recommend it. It’s beautiful, and you feel like you’re super remote although you’re only ten minutes from downtown Dadeville. Sidenote: I’m hosting a trip down the river this spring in late May. If interested, then email me at [email protected].
