Easy Lake Martin Living in StillWaters

I’ve said before that I think StillWaters might be the most golf cart friendly neighborhood around Lake Martin. You can leave the car parked and use a golf cart to get to restaurants, the marina, golf, and even the grocery store. That’s a pretty easy way to spend a weekend at Lake Martin.

507 Villas on the Harbor fit that lifestyle really well. The condo had three bedrooms, a boat slip, a deeded PWC slip, four parking spots, and a garage for a golf cart. It gave you a good home base for enjoying both the water and everything inside StillWaters.

Harbor Pointe Marina Inside the Gates

One of the big conveniences of StillWaters is Harbor Pointe Marina. It’s located inside the gates, and you can store your boat there, get gas, and visit the ship store. Having a marina right inside the neighborhood makes lake life a lot easier.

The Landing at Harbor Pointe is also right there at the marina. It’s a popular place to eat, and they even have golf cart parking. You can head out for a meal without ever needing to get in your car.

Restaurants and Groceries by Golf Cart

StillWaters also has Prime Steakhouse, giving you another place to eat without leaving the neighborhood. Lake Martin Grocery is connected to StillWaters by a golf cart path, so you don’t even have to get out on the highway. You can hop in the golf cart, pick up your groceries, and head right back home.

I’ve actually spent several days in StillWaters doing exactly that. I got around by golf cart and didn’t need to start my car. It showed me just how practical the golf cart lifestyle in StillWaters really is.

Golf and More Inside StillWaters

Of course, StillWaters also has its golf course. For golfers, that’s another big part of being able to spend your time close to home. StillWaters has other amenities as well, which adds to the convenience of living inside the gates.

There’s even Church of the Living Waters inside StillWaters. It’s located right on the water and gives you another reason you might not need to leave the neighborhood on a Sunday morning. That’s what I mean when I talk about how easy StillWaters living can be.
