This year marks the 46th annual celebration, and the event has been moved to Saturday, October 17, 2026. It’s a longtime local tradition featuring food, entertainment, shopping, a custom car show, and activities for the kids such as arts and crafts.
Alexander City Parks and Recreation organizes Oktoberfest, bringing together local vendors, food, and entertainment for the community. Visitors can browse vendor booths, check out the custom car show, and enjoy a variety of activities throughout the event. It’s a chance to spend some time outside and see what’s happening around Alexander City.
There’s plenty planned for the kids, too. The event includes a petting zoo, inflatables, as well as arts and crafts. That makes Oktoberfest a good option for families looking for something to do around Lake Martin.
The custom car show is another part of Alexander City’s Oktoberfest. Along with the vendors and other activities, visitors will have an opportunity to check out a collection of custom cars. If you enjoy looking at cars, this might be one of the first stops you’ll want to make.
