Long Leaf is a deed restricted neighborhood on the east side of Lake Martin. It is located in the Blue Creek area close to The Preserve at Stoney Ridge. It has been developed over several years. Construction began in the early 2000 and continues into 2018. Long Leaf as a few different pods or sections with the neighborhood. This variety gives different choices in view and privacy - from the quite sloughs to big open water vistas. They are:

Home styles vary (cabins to custom designed new construction) as do dock styles (floating docks with metal walls to traditional fixed wooden floating docks).
Long Leaf is on the south east side of Lake Martin. It is accessed by road by Tallapoosa County Road 34 via Alabama State Highway 49. Since it's on the east side, it is close to vacationers coming from Auburn and Georgia. The east side of Lake Martin is popular with many because it boasts several restaurants, like Oskar's, Niffer's, Lake Martin Pizza, Poplar Dawg's, and more. By water, Long Leaf is located in the "Blue Creek" area of Lake Martin, so this means they are close to Marians like The Ridge Marina, Harbor Pointe Marina in Stillwaters, and Chuck's Marina (which is also famous for its on water pizza restaurant.)
