The holiday season is upon us at Lake Martin, and there’s a brand-new event coming to the lake that will be fun for the whole family! On Saturday, December 13th, Wind Creek State Park will host its first-ever Holiday Market.
From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the day-use area of the park will be transformed into a festive, family-friendly marketplace. It will be full of local flavor, community charm, and the kind of seasonal spirit that makes this time of year so special.
With an entry fee of just $5 per carload, it’s an easy and affordable way to spend the day with loved ones. Whether you’re in search of unique, handcrafted gifts or simply looking to soak in the atmosphere, the Holiday Market offers a little something for everyone.
Local vendors will be selling awesome items that can help you with your Christmas shopping. Also, food vendors will be there, so there will be something for everyone. You’ll have the opportunity to support small businesses and artists from the Lake Martin area while having a fun time with friends and family.
Of course, part of what makes this event so special is the location itself. Wind Creek State Park has long been a favorite part of life on Lake Martin. Established in 1962, it spans over 1,400 acres and boasts one of the largest state-operated campgrounds in the United States.
From its scenic waterfront views to its peaceful hiking trails, Wind Creek offers some of the best that Lake Martin offers. In December, the weather is perfect for celebrating the holiday season. This event gives you the opportunity to do that.
